台灣獨樹一格的音樂肢體劇場 身聲劇場成立於西元1998年，匯集了「演樂舞」多方專長的表演者，以一貫「集體創作」形式，探索身體、聲音的初始力量，長期自不同文化古老技藝中，實驗、撞擊出現代劇場的美學。 近年創作形式融合皮影、面具、傀儡乃至多媒體影音、口白唸唱等豐富素材；全方位表演者既演、亦奏、亦舞、亦歌，在場幕轉換間巧妙分飾多變角色；強調能量爆發與互動感染力的臨場功力，創作從意象到敘事、實驗到通俗皆不設限，觀眾群不分年齡與族群。由此確立以肢體、音樂為主軸的劇場美學與表演風格，也是台灣少數能在表演者身上體現「演、樂、舞」跨領域能力合一的表演團體。

身聲劇場創辦人之一。吳忠良自馬來西亞藝術學院戲劇系在學期間即擴展自己表演語彙的多元與自由性。對原始儀式及藝術展現超越文化語言、連結人類共通經驗一直有特別強烈的情感，創團後在創作上即全力關注探索身體聲音最本然的力量與美感，從融合聲音（世界樂器、人聲）、肢體、戲劇、環境等元素的訓練中研究與呈現純粹而且有機的表演能量，尋找更開放自由的身體與聲音表演方式，並從劇場拓展至跨領域的表演型態中。導演作品《光．音》曾獲台新藝術獎十大表演藝術作品公開表揚。2021年8月因尋找劇團場址途中車禍意外離世，享年48歲。

Leonson Ng was one of Sun Son Theatre’s founding members. When studying drama at the Malaysian Institute of Art, he began to expand upon the freedom and diversity of his performance vocabulary. Driven by his strong and continuing interest in the language of ancient rituals and arts — a language he saw transcending cultures and rooted in common human experience — Leonson Ng founded Sun Son Theatre with an emphasis on the search for the natural power and aesthetics of the sound of the body. By fusing sound (world instruments and vocals), body, drama and environment in training, Ng has been seeking ways to perform the body and sound with greater openness and freedom and expand his creation from theater to interdisciplinary performances. His directorial work Aurora was shortlisted for the Top Ten Performing Arts at Taishin Arts Award. In August 2021, Ng died in a car accident during his search for a theater site. He was 48.
