積極參與文化與公共事務，先後擔任桃園市政府第五屆市政顧問、桃園市政府首屆青年諮詢委員、狂美愛樂文教協會創會理事長及桃園藝術人文發展協會創會執行長，2020年被收錄於臺灣客家名人錄。

     A leading conductor and band director active in Taiwan＇s contemporary music scene, Hsieh Wei-min specializes in program production, musical design and cross-disciplinary integration. His conducting is characterized by passionate energy, clear and fluid musical structure and richly varied orchestral colors, resulting in highly expressive performances that have earned widespread acclaim.

    In 2017, Hsieh co-founded the Con Bello Symphonic Band with French hornist Liu Ke-chieh, and has served as its director and conductor. He has long led large-scale productions and national tours, guiding the band in performances across Taiwan while establishing a distinctive brand that balances artistic excellence with strong market appeal. For five consecutive years, Con Bello has achieved the highest ticket sales in the music category at the National Theater and Concert Hall.

    Hsieh is also actively engaged in cultural and public affairs, having served as Municipal Advisor (5th term) to the Taoyuan City Government, a member of the inaugural Youth Advisory Committee of the Taoyuan City Government, founding Chairman of the Con Bello Association in Education and Culture, and founding Executive Director of the Taoyuan Arts and Humanities Development Association. In 2020, he was included in the Who’s Who in the Hakka World Taiwan Edition.
